Free Concert Anyone?

Janene and I went to a rehearsal this morning for the community concert band we are involved with. There is a performance tonight at 7:30pm at a local middle school. If you'd like to come, shoot me an email and I'll send you the details. Be prepared, though. I've noticed a strong sense of unity in this band, but it certainly has nothing to do with tempo or intonation (if you know what I mean ;)).

I had a great Valentine's Day. Janene made dinner for me last night—Chicken Parmesan, Yum! She also gave me a Michael W. Smith CD, a nice tie, and a really stylish pocket watch with my initials engraved on it. I've always wanted a nice pocket watch, and I'm very grateful for her thoughtfulness.

(Click for alarger image)Here's a picture of my stylish pocket watch for your viewing pleasure. It is made by a company called Colibri, which from what I understand also makes a nice line of cigar accessories.I don't have any idea how much Janene payed for it, but she got it at a store in the mall called "Things Remembered". She was able to get my initials engraved on it for free with the purchase. Maybe that would be a good place to look for a gift for David. I honestly consider it one of the best gifts anyone has given me.Good Luck!

The concert was fun. Merissa and I enjoyed watching you both play, and we really loved our family time/discussion afterwards.

Whoa! Dave and I got a pocketwatch just like that for our friend Chris for Christmas. We didn't get it at "Things Remembered". I've not only seen them at the store we went to... but other places as well. Ooooo... emoticons now!! :P :D
