Holy crap!

ok... I really have no idea what to say about this...

I would especially like to draw attention to this paragraph.

During the Iraqi TV interview, Arnett said, "I'd like to say from the beginning that [for] the 12 years I've been coming here, I've met unfailing courtesy and cooperation, courtesy from your people and cooperation from the Ministry of Information."

actually... i do know what to say. If they are so nice over there... don't bother coming back.

Yeah, I heard about this guy on X96 this morning. Bill was really ticked off about the whole thing.

I'm not one to run with the crowd that labels liberal peace-activists as "un-American". I think one of the fundamentals of our constitution is free speech. When they start laying down in traffic they need to be arrested, but they have every right to hate President Bush and what he's doing. I hated Clinton, but that didn't make me less of an American.

However, when you are not on American soil, and you begin to talk negatively of American policies—especially in wartime—I think that qualifies as extremely un-American. This guy basically told the Iraqi people they were winning. What is that going to do for their resolve? If they were willing to fight for Saddam before, how much more will the be willing now? Way to go pal.
